Prestigious West end-based Asset Manager seek a Senior OTC Derivatives Operations Analyst

£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Industry Experience : Hedge Fund or Asset Management

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• It is an essential requirement that you have 3+ years previous investment operations experience at an Asset Manager or Hedge Fund with a proven background in OTC Derivative products
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics
• Full UK working rights

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience in sovereign bonds, repos, OTC Derivates – IRS, Futures, Swaptions, Bond Options, FX Forwards
• Trade lifecycle support of the above products
• Matching/settlement knowledge of OTC Derivatives
• Collateral Management experience
• Cash/Position/Trade reconciliations experience
• Familiar with managing relationships with the Front Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Trade Support for the Macro Trading Desk
• Building cash spreadsheet for the Trading Desk (Treasury function)
• Collateral Management
• Reconciliation of Custodian cash and securities positions and resolving breaks identified
• Assisting with the trade lifecycle and resolving issues with trade settlement and matching
• Supporting the Trading Desks with any queries and issues
• Responsible for approving NAVs and front office cash management
• Address as hoc inquires front the custodians and administrators.
• Contributing improvements to the control environment
• Ad-hoc projects as requested but Operations Manager and Head of Operations
