Job description
Senior Operations Lead - Performance
London | Up to £60,000 DOE
Drive performance through data in a high growth food business.
We are hiring a commercially focused and analytically strong operator to lead performance and KPI management across a rapidly scaling food startup working across FMCG, QSR and dark kitchen concepts.
This role sits at the centre of the business, owning how performance is measured, tracked and improved across partners.
You will not just report on numbers. You will define what matters, monitor performance closely, and work directly with account management teams to improve outcomes across the network.
What you will be doing
- Owning the performance framework across partners, including KPIs, targets and reporting
- Monitoring partner performance across sales, operations and key commercial metrics
- Identifying trends, gaps and underperformance across accounts
- Building dashboards and reporting that clearly highlight performance and priorities
- Working closely with account management teams to turn insights into action plans
- Advising and supporting account managers on how to coach partners using data
- Creating clear, structured performance reviews for internal and external stakeholders
- Driving consistency in how performance is tracked and managed across the business
- Supporting leadership with clear insight into overall business performance
What we are looking for
- This role is for someone who combines strong analytical ability with commercial awareness and influence.
- We are specifically looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a food startup within FMCG, QSR or dark kitchens
- Has worked with performance metrics, KPIs or commercial reporting
- Can independently analyse data and identify clear actions and recommendations
- Has experience building dashboards or performance reporting
- Is confident working with tools such as:
- Excel or Google Sheets at an advanced level
- SQL or similar preferred but not essential
- BI tools such as Looker, Power BI or Tableau
- Understands how to translate data into practical actions for non technical teams
- Is comfortable working closely with account managers or commercial teams
- Can influence and guide others using data, not just present it
- Enjoys digging into detail and understanding what is driving performance
What good looks like in this role
You have previously:
- Owned or managed KPI reporting across multiple accounts or locations
- Identified underperforming partners and recommended actions to improve results
- Built dashboards that highlight performance trends and priorities
- Worked with account managers or commercial teams to improve partner outcomes
- Used data to influence decisions on operations, partnerships or growth
