Chartered Building Surveyor – Commercial Consultancy – Birmingham – up to £65,000 + bonus + benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a well-established independent property and building surveying consultancy within their Birmingham office.

The role sits within a growing Building Surveyor team delivering a wide range of professional and project-led services across the commercial property sector.

The Chartered Building Surveyor role

Working primarily across commercial property assets, responsibilities will include:

• Contract administration
• Technical due diligence
• Dilapidations advice
• Building pathology and defect diagnosis
• General commercial building surveying instructions
• Technical reporting and client advisory

The Chartered Building Surveyor

• MRICS qualified with 0–2 years’ post-qualification experience
• Degree in Building Surveying or similar discipline
• Strong report writing and technical analysis skills
• Sound knowledge of building contracts within a commercial environment
• Commercially aware with the ability to contribute to business development
• Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
• Able to work independently and within a collaborative consultancy team
• Full UK driving licence
