Job Title:

UI/UX Designer – Virtual Clinic Platform

Department:

UK (Hybrid/Remote as required)

Job Purpose

To design and optimise user interfaces and user experiences for SAH Diagnostics’ Virtual Clinic platform and associated digital healthcare systems, ensuring intuitive, accessible, and clinically efficient workflows for patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand the needs of patients, clinicians, and administrative staff within digital healthcare pathways
  • Design user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile applications
  • Develop and maintain a consistent design system aligned with NHS usability and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
  • Collaborate with software developers and product teams to implement user-centred design solutions
  • Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and data insights
  • Optimise digital pathways (e.g. Dermatology, urology, breast cancer, prostate pathways) to improve efficiency and patient experience
  • Ensure all designs support clinical safety, data clarity, and operational usability
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of SAH Diagnostics’ SaaS digital health platform

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in UI/UX design, product design, or digital design
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Experience designing web/mobile applications
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces
  • Understanding of accessibility and usability standards
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (desirable, not essential)
