Systems Test Manager

£70,000 - £80,000 + 12.5% bonus

South Wales – Hybrid 2-3 days a week on-site

We are partnering with a global defence and technology leader to recruit an Systems Test Manager for high‑profile communications systems programme based in South Wales. This is a key role within a fast‑growing organisation that is experiencing significant success and long‑term demand across its portfolio.

In this position, you will be an experienced and accomplished Systems Test Manager with strong experience in Systems Integration.

This is a transformation and change role, looking for someone who has modernised test within automation and AI.

Key Skills –

• Experience in Defence or working on safety-critical systems
• Background in change management, updating test procedures within automation and AI
• Strong systems test and integration background working on complex programmes
• Experience managing teams and projects, including mentorship and coaching

Responsibilities –

• Test Strategy and Planning – developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans and strategies
• Test Execution and oversight – supervising the execution of test plans, evaluation test results, identifying issues, and ensuring adherence to testing methodologies
• Team leadership and management – building, motivating and coaching test team
• Process Improvement and Quality Assurance: Monitor and optimise testing processes, define and track relevant metrics, and ensure alignment of testing goals with business objectives.
• Leading transformation and change activities
