AMC Executive Search is retained by a London Market insurance broker to identify a senior broker to join a newly established Real Estate team in London. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a practice from the ground up, where you will bringing your market relationships, technical expertise and commercial instincts to bear in a high-profile, client-facing role.
The Opportunity
As a senior member of the Real Estate broking team, you will take ownership of programme design, placement strategy and client relationships across a portfolio of real estate clients. Working alongside a growing team, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and placement of real estate insurance programmes across London market and international markets.
- Driving new business development through prospecting, broking design and client presentations.
- Developing and implementing broking strategies across all relevant insurance classes for key real estate clients.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, underwriters and internal stakeholders.
- Providing expert market insight, resolving complex placement challenges and delivering an exceptional standard of client service.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring 8–12 years of insurance broking experience, with a meaningful portion spent working within a dedicated real estate or property broking team. You will be technically strong, commercially minded and genuinely passionate about the real estate insurance market.
You will also bring:
- ACII qualification (or active progress towards it).
- Deep knowledge of London market practices and real estate or property insurance placement.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- A proactive mindset and the drive to develop both clients and colleagues.
