NEW QHSE ENGINEER IN ANDOVER.
Our client based in Andover, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex PCBA's for a range of industries like automotive, industrial and medical.
Our client are looking for an experienced QHSE Engineer to join our Quality team, reporting directly to the QHSE Manager. This is a key role in driving our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategy and embedding a positive quality and safety culture across the business.
Job requirements of the QHSE Engineer in Andover:
- Develop, maintain and improve the Business Management System in line with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Act as EHS Management Representative, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Lead internal HSE audits, manage non-conformances, and ensure timely closure.
- Support risk identification, containment and preventative actions across the business.
- Manage customer compliance requests, including conflict minerals.
- Deliver training across quality, health, safety and environmental topics.
- Track and report HSE KPIs, including energy usage and waste.
Requirements as a QHSE Engineer in Andover:
- Act as the main point of contact for supplier quality matters
- Convert NCRs into SCARs and manage supplier follow-up
- Perform supplier audits (initial, routine and ad-hoc)
- Degree-level qualification preferred (minimum HNC Level 4 in Electronics or Electrical Engineering)
