We’re looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead the delivery of high‑quality bids, frameworks and tender submissions that support our continued growth.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the end‑to‑end bid process, producing compelling and compliant submissions, and continuously improving our approach to winning work across the public sector.

The Role

As Bid Manager, you’ll take ownership of bids, frameworks, mini‑competitions and supplier questionnaires from opportunity identification through to submission. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to coordinate inputs, shape winning responses and ensure every submission is compliant, persuasive and commercially sound.

You’ll also play a critical role in developing and maintaining a robust bid content library, helping to improve efficiency, consistency and win rates.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the full lifecycle of bids, frameworks, DPS applications, mini‑competitions and SQs / PQQs
  • Leading bid kick‑off meetings, setting timelines and coordinating contributors
  • Owning bid plans, compliance matrices and submission schedules
  • Writing, editing and reviewing high‑quality, customer‑focused bid responses
  • Tailoring content to specific buyers, sectors and evaluation criteria
  • Applying best‑practice bid methodologies to maximise scores
  • Managing framework participation, renewals and call‑off opportunities
  • Coordinating supplier questionnaires and compliance documentation
  • Building and maintaining a high‑quality, version‑controlled bid content library
  • Working closely with sales, product, finance, HR, legal and compliance teams
  • Tracking bid performance, analysing feedback and embedding lessons learned

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience in bid management, tender writing or proposal management
  • Strong experience of public sector procurement and frameworks
  • Demonstrable delivery of bids, frameworks, mini‑competitions and supplier questionnaires
  • Solid understanding of evaluation methodologies and scoring criteria
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts

Desirable

  • Familiarity with bid management tools or content libraries
  • APMP or equivalent bid qualification

About You

  • Highly organised and deadline‑driven
  • Commercially aware and customer‑focused
  • Calm, resilient and solutions‑orientated under pressure
  • Proactive, curious and committed to continuous improvement
  • Collaborative, with the confidence to challenge content to raise quality

Why Join Us?

You’ll be joining a collaborative, ambitious organisation where the bid function plays a central role in driving growth. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we bid, shape our content and make a real impact on winning new business.
