The Role

They are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager with a true hunter mentality to expand their market presence across a defined region. This is a pure new business role focused on identifying, engaging, and securing new customers across sectors predominately within construction.

You will play a critical role in driving growth, representing life-saving technology, and building relationships with key stakeholders from operational teams to senior safety leaders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and win new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client safety challenges and operational risks
  • Deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation through to close
  • Develop deep knowledge of regional industries, key players, and market trends
  • Build relationships with stakeholders including H&S leaders, Operations Managers, and senior decision-makers
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and sales forecasts
  • Work closely with Deployment and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Provide market insights to Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams


Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven track record in new business sales, business development, or field sales (B2B preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage both operational and senior-level stakeholders
  • Experience selling technical solutions and translating value into business outcomes
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in construction, manufacturing, logistics, utilities, or industrial sectors (desirable)
  • Confident user of CRM systems
