You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, production, and operations to deliver strong in-market execution and maximise account performance.

This is an ideal role for someone with a background in FMCG or VMS who enjoys owning retail relationships, driving growth, and operating in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong, strategic relationships with buying teams and key stakeholders
  • Lead regular account reviews, performance meetings, and joint business planning
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for all retail partners
  • Design, prepare and confidently present high-quality commercial decks to senior retail stakeholders, including buyers and category teams

Account Growth & Commercial Performance

  • Present performance insights, growth plans and commercial proposals to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling and data-driven way

Retail Execution & Launch Management

  • Lead the successful execution of new product launches within retail accounts
  • Ensure strong in-store and online activation in collaboration with marketing
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class execution across all channels
  • Monitor and optimise product performance post-launch

New Business & International Growth

  • Support the development of new retail opportunities in the UK and internationally
  • Contribute to expansion into US retail accounts where relevant
  • Identify and pursue new distribution channels and partnerships
  • Support pitch development and onboarding of new retail partners
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitch decks for new business opportunities and international expansion

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure accurate forecasting and stock availability
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, launches, and brand visibility
  • Align internal teams to deliver on retailer requirements and expectations
  • Resolve any operational or commercial issues impacting account performance

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Own account forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
  • Track and report on KPIs including sales performance, margins, and growth
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and internal systems
  • Provide regular commercial updates and insights to leadership

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Within the first 6–12 months you will:

  • Take full ownership of key UK retail accounts
  • Deliver measurable growth across existing partners
  • Strengthen relationships with major retail buyers
  • Successfully execute product launches and promotional plans
  • Identify and contribute to new retail opportunities in the UK and internationally
  • Establish yourself as a key commercial driver within the business
  • Deliver high-impact presentations that influence retailer decisions and unlock growth opportunities

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a commercially focused, results-driven individual with strong experience in retail account management.

You will likely have:

  • 4–7 years’ experience in National Account Management within FMCG or VMS
  • Proven experience managing UK retail accounts (e.g. Grocery, pharmacy, or health retail)
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Experience delivering revenue growth and managing P&L/account performance
  • Confidence working with major retail buyers and senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities
  • Advanced PowerPoint (or equivalent) skills with experience creating and presenting high-quality, data-driven decks to senior stakeholders

Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or high-growth scale-ups is highly desirable.

Why Join Us
