General Manager – Northern Region (UK)

Private Equity-Backed Business Services Platform

We’re working with a high-growth, private equity-backed platform to appoint a General Manager for its Northern region, covering the North of England through to Scotland.

This is a P&L leadership role within a scaling, acquisitive environment, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of a regional business and drive both organic and inorganic growth.

The role:

• Full P&L ownership of a growing Northern region
• Scale the region towards £100m revenue
• Drive operational excellence across a multi-site, service-led model
• Work closely with central teams on M&A execution and integration of bolt-on acquisitions
• Build and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience holding full P&L responsibility (size less important than ownership and accountability)
• Background in business services, ideally within route-based / field-service models
• Hands-on operator - comfortable in the detail as well as setting direction
• Exposure to M&A (integration and/or bolt-ons) is beneficial
• Ambitious, high-energy individual who thrives in a direct, feedback-driven culture
