Position Overview:

My client is seeking an 8PQE+ Commercial Solicitor with a background working on a broad range of commercial and contractual matters for clients in technology, travel, and luxury good sectors. The Co-Co team currently has a HoD and two associates, with the successful candidate joining and managing the juniors in the team and continuing to build on the foundations. Candidates must have experience managing a small team and generating their own work. Therefore, a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of commercial matters.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in relation to commercial matters.
  • Manage juniors solicitors.
  • Conduct legal research and analyse case law to support corporate strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm’s profile in the corporate sector.


Qualifications + Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in Commercial law.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to corporate and commercial matters.
  • At least a small following of clients and a business plan to grow this clientbase.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
