Position Overview:
My client is seeking an 8PQE+ Commercial Solicitor with a background working on a broad range of commercial and contractual matters for clients in technology, travel, and luxury good sectors. The Co-Co team currently has a HoD and two associates, with the successful candidate joining and managing the juniors in the team and continuing to build on the foundations. Candidates must have experience managing a small team and generating their own work. Therefore, a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of commercial matters.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in relation to commercial matters.
- Manage juniors solicitors.
- Conduct legal research and analyse case law to support corporate strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm’s profile in the corporate sector.
Qualifications + Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in Commercial law.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to corporate and commercial matters.
- At least a small following of clients and a business plan to grow this clientbase.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
