Job description
We’re hiring an EDI Analyst to support and enhance a busy and complex estate. This is a split role: 50% project delivery/build and 50% operational support, so it suits someone who enjoys getting stuck in, owning issues end-to-end, and improving how things run.
What you’ll be doing
- Monitoring and supporting day-to-day EDI integration workflows and interfaces.
- Investigating incidents, prioritising issues/requests and driving issues through to resolution.
- Designing, building, testing and implementing new interfaces for customer/supplier projects.
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business and with external suppliers/customers.
- Producing clear documentation (process notes, interface details, runbooks).
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years’ experience in EDI roles, ideally with integration exposure.
- Solid understanding of EDI integrations and the fundamentals of how EDI works.
- Working knowledge of common communication protocols (e.g. AS2/SFTP/FTPS/FTPES/ HTTPS).
- SQL Server querying ability is essential (comfortable validating data, troubleshooting, and working in a SQL-heavy environment)
- Hands-on, self-motivated and proactive, work rate and drive matter.
- Strong prioritisation skills (able to balance BAU support with project delivery).
- Confident communicator with good stakeholder management (internal and external).
Working pattern
- Hybrid working.
- Some travel as needed to work with stakeholders/suppliers/customers.
Who this suits
- Someone in their 2nd or 3rd role who wants broader ownership across build + operations
- A practical problem-solver who can work independently but enjoys being visible in the business
