We are working on behalf of a forward-thinking and inclusive school to recruit an ambitious and experienced Assistant Headteacher to join the senior leadership team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding practitioner ready to take the next step into leadership, or an existing Assistant Headteacher seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving school improvement, supporting staff development, and ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
- Lead on key whole-school priorities (e.g. Teaching & learning, behaviour, curriculum, or pastoral - depending on experience)
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across the school
- Use data effectively to drive improvement and raise attainment
- Line manage staff and contribute to their professional development
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations school culture
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven track record of outstanding teaching and leadership
- Experience in middle or senior leadership within a school setting
- Strong understanding of school improvement strategies
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all students
