MB are partnering with a leading UK food manufacturer to recruit a Senior National Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in Yorkshire.


This is a high-profile opportunity to take ownership of a key retail account, driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering against ambitious commercial targets.

The role sits at the heart of the business, acting as the lead for the customer across site, with full P&L accountability and responsibility for delivering the joint business plan in collaboration with category, NPD, and supply chain teams.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own and deliver the customer P&L across multiple categories
  • Build and execute the joint business plan to achieve volume, sales, and profit targets
  • Drive profitable promotional activity and identify growth opportunities
  • Lead forecasting and ensure strong alignment with supply chain and operations
  • Manage pricing, costing submissions, and margin performance
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving and efficiency initiatives
  • Analyse performance vs budget and clearly articulate variances
  • Work closely with NPD to ensure commercially viable and operationally efficient launches
  • Partner with category teams to unlock growth through insight-led strategies
  • Act as the key customer lead across all commercially related projects


What We’re Looking For:


  • Proven Senior National Account Manager experience within FMCG
  • Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership
  • Highly analytical, with a results-driven mindset
  • Experience working cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and NPD
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Food industry experience is essential
  • Previous team management experience desirable
