Exhibition Sales Executive
London (Hybrid)
£35,000 + uncapped commission
We’re working with an international events business to hire an Exhibition Sales Executive to take ownership of a high-volume exhibitor package product within one of their flagship events.
This is a fast-paced, commercial sales role with clear progression into higher-value sponsorship sales. It would particularly suit someone currently working in delegate sales who is looking to step into a more revenue-driven, client-facing position.
The role
You’ll be responsible for selling exhibitor packages (typically £6–7k) into a global marketing technology audience. These are transactional, high-volume deals, requiring strong outbound activity, pipeline management, and consistent closing.
You’ll work across existing, lapsed, and new business, speaking directly with founders and senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Selling exhibitor packages across multiple event editions
- Re-engaging lapsed clients and converting them back into the event
- Managing a high-volume pipeline of prospects
- Generating new business through outbound activity and market research
- Closing deals in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Attending events and competitor shows to build relationships and pipeline
- Identifying and converting upsell opportunities into larger sponsorship packages
Targets & progression
- Annual target of approximately £300–400k
- Clear pathway into sponsorship sales
- Opportunity to retain and grow accounts you upsell
Commission
- Uncapped, tiered commission structure
- Accelerators as event targets are exceeded
- Higher commission rates for new business
Candidate profile
- Experience in B2B sales, ideally within events
- Strong preference for candidates from delegate sales backgrounds
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, outbound sales environment
- Driven, resilient, and target-oriented
- Confident engaging with senior decision-makers
