At Alchemy we are working with a London based Auction house looking for a Post Sale Manager. This position sits within a specialist team responsible for managing the post-sale lifecycle of artworks for a global client base. The successful individual will take ownership of client projects following a sale, ensuring that all aspects of delivery, presentation, and installation are handled seamlessly.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will act as the central point of coordination, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained throughout.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full post-sale process for artworks, from confirmation through to final delivery and installation
  • Coordinate international and domestic logistics, identifying the most effective transport and installation solutions
  • Ensure all artworks meet required quality standards prior to dispatch
  • Liaise with approved suppliers to coordinate any restoration, finishing, or presentation requirements
  • Manage additional project elements such as framing, display requirements, and installation specifications
  • Plan and coordinate site visits and pre-installation requirements where necessary
  • Work closely with internal logistics and shipping teams to ensure smooth execution across all stages
  • Monitor project timelines, proactively addressing any challenges or delays
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all shipping and compliance paperwork is completed correctly
  • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on project status and progress


Key Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling high-value items
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general systems
  • Previous experience within fine art, auction houses, galleries, or luxury goods environments preferred
