HGV Class 1 Driver – Southam, Warwickshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Southam, Warwickshire to join our client.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.

This position would suit applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 06:00

Rates of Pay:

• Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a HGV Class 1 Driver will include:

• Class 1 trunking and trailer swaps
• Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

Essential Skills:

The skills required as a HGV Class 1 Driver are:

• A valid UK Category CE driving licence
• A minimum of 24 months' Class 1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
• A valid UK CPC card and digital tachograph card
• Good spoken and written English

Desirable Experience:

• Previous commercial driving experience

Training Provided:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support
