The Role

This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you’ll own and drive the electronics design function across new product development.

You’ll collaborate closely with mechanical and optical teams to bring cutting-edge lighting products from concept through to production — ensuring quality, performance, and compliance at every stage.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the design and development of robust electronic systems for automotive lighting products
• Define and continuously improve electronic design standards and documentation
• Work cross-functionally to deliver fully integrated product solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and partners
• Ensure designs meet regulatory, performance, and reliability requirements
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
• Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative ideas into development

✅ What they’re looking for

• Degree in Electronics Engineering (or related field)
• Strong experience in electronic design, including time in a senior or lead role
• Proven track record delivering products from concept to production
• Experience with PCB design for LED/lighting applications
• Understanding of EMC requirements (e.g. Automotive compliance standards)
• Proficiency with electronic design tools (e.g. Altium or similar)
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for innovation
