The Roles

We’re expanding our contractor network and looking for experienced contract electronic engineers (10+ years) across multiple domains:

• Analogue Electronics Engineers

• RF Engineers

• High-Speed Design Engineers

• FPGA Engineers

These roles involve working on technically challenging projects in communications, signal processing, and high-performance systems.

We’re interested in individuals with strong problem-solving skills, deep domain expertise, and a proven track record of delivery in complex environments.

You will need to work with us on-site in our offices just outside Cambridge.

Who are we?

Horizon Technology Consulting ltd is a Cambridge-based engineering consultancy specialising in complex systems work across electronics, embedded software, and mechanical design. We help product teams turn high-risk concepts into working demonstrators and early prototypes, working with clients across the UK and US on scientific instruments, connected devices, and novel sensing platforms. Our small, senior team takes on hard technical problems end to end, from feasibility through to prototype build.
