The Role
As Engineering Supervisor, you’ll oversee day-to-day engineering operations within a critical environment, ensuring all systems operate at peak performance. You’ll lead a team of engineers, drive compliance, and act as a key decision-maker during technical incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of engineers across shift operations
- Ensure all critical infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, HVAC) is maintained to the highest standards
- Act as HV Authorised Person (AP) – managing switching operations and ensuring safety compliance
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical failures
- Plan and oversee PPMs and reactive maintenance activities
- Maintain compliance with HSE, client procedures, and industry standards
- Liaise with stakeholders and provide technical reports and updates
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a critical data centre or mission-critical environment
- HV Authorised Person (AP) certification – essential
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Solid understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Experience with permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisive calls
