Lead BMS Commissioning Engineer

Are you a BEMS Commissioning Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, high-profile environments?

We’re working with a leading contractor delivering a major life sciences development in Oxford, a flagship project where building performance, energy monitoring and smart control systems are absolutely critical.

This role will see you pre-commissioning and commissioning BEMS control panels, proving full integration between the BEMS system and multiple 3rd party packages across a live construction site environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-commissioning and commissioning BEMS systems & control panels
• Proving integration between BEMS and M&E systems
• Working across mechanical systems (air, hydraulic, FCUs, chilled beams)
• Supporting electrical systems including metering, lighting, fire, security & smart tech
• Reading and interpreting deliverables, interface matrices, network drawings, point schedules & technical specs
• Ensuring smooth handover of fully operational BEMS systems

Desired Experience

• Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Strong experience delivering BEMS systems (ideally Schneider / Tridium)
• Experience with BACnet and/or Modbus
• Confident working with software, graphics and system integration
• Valid CSCS or ECS card
