Client Overview:


We are supporting a global, market-leading organisation operating at the intersection of logistics, life sciences and advanced packaging solutions. The business partners with some of the world’s most innovative organisations, supporting the safe movement of highly valuable and often time-sensitive materials across international supply chains.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Internal Account Manager to join a collaborative and high-performing commercial team.



Role Overview:


You will operate as a consultative partner to customers, managing a broad portfolio of international accounts while also engaging with new enquiries generated through marketing and lead generation activity, combining Account management, Technical / solution-based selling, Project coordination (often over longer sales cycles and Commercial negotiation



Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of international customers, building long-term, credible relationships
  • Develop new business opportunities across both new and existing accounts, contributing to overall revenue growth
  • Manage and respond to inbound customer enquiries, providing timely, accurate and commercially focused solutions
  • Support customers in selecting appropriate solutions based on their technical and logistical requirements
  • Manage sales projects from initial enquiry through to completion (some projects may span several months)
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within both new and existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, engineering, quality and customer support
  • Contribute to targeted lead generation campaigns alongside marketing
  • Negotiate pricing, proposals and commercial agreements



Person Specification:


  • Experience in a sales, account management or customer-facing commercial role
  • Backgrounds in logistics or supply chain
  • Experience in a consultative or solution-based sales environment is highly beneficial
  • Confident using CRM systems and standard business tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to effectively close deals and manage sales cycles of varied lengths depending on the project
