E-Commerce Executive
Reports to: E-Commerce Manager
Location: Edinburgh Park, office based
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday with flexible working hours
Company Introduction
Scheppach UK Ltd. Is the UK subsidiary of Scheppach GmbH, a globally recognised manufacturer of power tools and garden machinery with a rich heritage spanning decades. Part of a group employing over 450 people worldwide and generating approximately €400 million in annual turnover, we're bringing German engineering excellence to the UK and Irish markets.
Founded in late 2024, we're building something special from the ground up. This is your opportunity to join a small but ambitious team at an exciting stage of growth, helping to establish a trusted brand across key UK marketplaces. We're looking for people who want to make a genuine impact, who thrive in collaborative environments and who are excited by the challenge of shaping a business from its foundations.
Role Overview
As E-Commerce Executive, you'll be at the heart of our digital commercial strategy. You'll manage and optimise our presence across major UK marketplaces including our flagship online store, Amazon, eBay, Tesco and B&Q Marketplace, while driving customer engagement through targeted email marketing campaigns.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves the detail of product optimisation, stays curious about marketplace trends, and wants to see the direct impact of their work on sales performance. You'll have the autonomy to test, learn and implement improvements while working closely with our supply chain and social media teams.
Could you be who we are looking for?
- Do you have 2-3 years experience managing product listings on platforms like Amazon Seller Central, Ebay, Shopify or Shopware?
- Are you confident optimising product content for SEO and conversion, with a track record of improving listing performance?
- Can you navigate AI tools effectively to generate compelling product descriptions and marketing content?
- Do you have hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Brevo, Klaviyo or Mailchimp, including automation and campaign funnels?
- Are you proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating and editing product imagery?
- Do you excel at working with data, particularly in Excel for CSV uploads and bulk inventory management?
- Are you proactive in problem-solving, comfortable liaising with marketplace seller support teams and internal IT?
- Do you have an interest in (or better yet, a passion for) power tools and garden machinery?
What does a typical day look like?
- Managing product listings across our website and key marketplaces, ensuring accuracy, consistency and optimisation for search and conversion.
- Conducting market research to monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies and emerging trends in the e-commerce landscape.
- Creating engaging A+ Content and enhanced brand descriptions that tell our product stories effectively.
- Developing and executing email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional funnels and automated sequences.
- Analysing sales performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Optimising product content through SEO keyword research, compelling copywriting and high-quality imagery.
- Preparing and uploading CSV files for bulk product updates and inventory management.
- Communicating regularly with our supply chain team on stock levels and sales forecasts and collaborating with our social media team on integrated campaigns.
- Troubleshooting marketplace issues and maintaining strong relationships with platform seller support teams.

- Growth opportunity – be part of building something from the start and shape your role as we expand
- Collaborative culture – join a friendly, open team where your ideas are valued and encouraged
How to Apply
We're looking for someone with a flair for digital marketing and branding who is self-motivated and eager to expand their skillset in a rapidly evolving landscape. You should have great attention to detail, strong communication skills, and not be afraid to voice your ideas in our open and friendly team environment.
If you can tell the difference between a power drill and an impact driver (or are keen to learn), even better! Experience or genuine interest in power tools and garden machinery will help you relate to our products and customers – though you don't need to be a professional tradesperson.
