Assignment Length:24 months, with strong potential to join the banking client permanently at the end of the assignment.

About the Elevate ProgrammeElevate is Vantage Point Global's early careers development programme. You join Vantage Point Global, complete structured training, then deploy into a tier 1 banking client on a two-year assignment.

The OpportunityWe are hiring Junior Developers and Developers (0 - 3 years of experience) for 24‐month assignments in Belfast. You will work in delivery pods alongside experienced engineers. You will learn modern engineering practices through hands‐on delivery, pairing, code reviews, and day‐to‐day coaching.

Core Technologies We Need

Java back‐end developer, Spring Boot microservices

Kubernetes configuration and management, including Helm scripting

Cloud Azure capabilities, including Terraform

React Native, shipping to iOS and Android

What You'll Do

Build, test, and support Java microservices using Spring Boot

Develop and maintain Kubernetes deployments and Helm charts

Deliver Azure infrastructure using Terraform

Build React Native features for iOS and Android

Work in a pod model with senior engineers, product, and QA

Participate in code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing

What We're Looking ForJunior Developer

Strong fundamentals in software engineering and debugging

Some experience with Java, cloud, containers, or mobile development through work, study, or projects

Curious mindset and comfort learning from others

Developer (up to 3 years experience)

Professional experience delivering production software

Hands‐on delivery in at least two of the core technologies above

Confidence working with CI/CD and production support

Able to take ownership of features within a pod
