The secret ingredient? YouPaid social content is central to how SimplyCook acquires and connects with new customers. We're looking for a talented Content Producer to help bring that content to life.
This is a hands‐on, end‐to‐end role supporting our Lead Creative Strategist and performance marketing team. You'll be involved from idea through to final export – helping develop concepts, running shoots, and editing content optimised for platforms like Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
You'll play a key role in creating engaging, high‐performing short‐form content that helps us test, learn, and scale the creative that drives customer growth.
Your missionContent Development
Work closely with the Lead Creative Strategist and marketing team to develop short‐form content ideas rooted in audience insight, platform trends, and paid social best practices.
Create storyboards, scripts, and hooks that capture attention quickly and drive engagement.
Translate creative concepts into clear production plans that can be executed efficiently.
Help manage content workflows, including organising and storing raw footage and ingesting edits into our content management systems.
Content Production
Plan and execute video shoots end‐to‐end, capturing footage that aligns with our creative vision and brand guidelines.
Manage shoots efficiently, ensuring lighting, audio, and footage quality are captured to a high standard.
Direct contributors or talent on set to ensure content feels natural, engaging, and authentic to social platforms.
Capture a mix of studio, lifestyle, and UGC‐style content designed specifically for social and paid media.
Work with the marketing team to ensure every asset is delivered in the correct formats and specifications for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Meta.
Social Content Editing
Edit and finalise video assets for delivery across paid and organic social channels.
Craft compelling hooks, pacing, and visual storytelling that hold attention and encourage engagement.
Develop and maintain visual templates, graphic packages, and editing frameworks to improve consistency and production efficiency.
Add captions, subtitles, and visual overlays to improve accessibility and performance.
Work closely with the marketing team to iterate on content based on performance insights and creative testing results.
Your profile
Proven experience producing and editing short‐form video content for social media, ideally in a DTC, e‐commerce, or agency environment.
Strong understanding of what performs on Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts – from format and pacing to trends and platform specs.
Confident running shoots independently, with the ability to plan, capture, and manage production from setup through to final delivery.
Skilled in video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or equivalent.
A strong eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and social‐first content formats.
Experience creating motion graphics or simple visual effects is a bonus.
Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple shoots and edits in a fast‐moving environment.
A collaborative team player who takes feedback well and can move quickly from idea to delivery.
