Sales Assistant – Halifax – Plumb CentreSalary: £26,695 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities

Assisting customers at the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.

Handling customer enquiries via phone and email with a positive, proactive attitude, building strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.

Carrying out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked in on our system and put away in the warehouse.

Merchandising displays to a high standard in the branch.

This is a full time, permanent role – Monday to Friday between 07:30am – 5pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08:00am – 12:00pm.

Qualifications

Plumbing & Heating experience is essential.

Proven experience in a face‐to‐face sales/customer service position.

Great communication skills and a customer‐first approach.

Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch.

Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic approach.

A driving licence is preferable, as you will be required to cover the regular driver when he is out of the business.
