Maples Care Home is a purpose‐built nursing home in Bexleyheath, set over three floors and designed to combine modern facilities with a warm, homely atmosphere. The home offers 75 spacious ensuite bedrooms where residents are encouraged to personalise their space, creating a comfortable and supportive environment.

What You'll Do

Empower independence: Assist residents with daily routines, from dressing to staying active, encouraging them to make positive choices.

Personalized care: Follow each resident's care plan, providing hands‐on help and thoughtful attention to individual needs.

Health and wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents' health, communicate concerns to Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.

Champion dignity: Uphold each resident's dignity and respect, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.

Social support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff.

Safety and comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, comfortable spaces, respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.

Nutritional support: Assist residents requiring help with eating and drinking to meet nutritional needs.

Spread smiles: Bring joy and make residents smile every day.

About You

Qualifications: SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.

Experience: At least 6 months as a Care Assistant is preferable, but passion for care and transferable skills are welcomed.

Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
