Global Sales Manager (Events)
Location: Europe (preferred) / Remote (aligned to European time zones)
Reporting to: General Manager
Contract Type: Independent Contractor (performance-based remuneration)

The Role
We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Global Sales Manager to take ownership of sales across our international events portfolio.
This role is ideally suited to someone based in Europe or a similar time zone, enabling effective engagement with our global client base.
Initially, the focus will be on event sponsorship and delegate sales, with the opportunity to grow into a broader commercial role across our offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage global sales activity for BCR events
- Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across financial institutions, fintechs, and corporates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners
- Drive sponsorship and delegate revenue for international conferences
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to maximise commercial success
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
- Represent the company at events (virtual and in-person where required)
What We’re Looking For

You are:
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient
- A strong communicator with fluent English (written and spoken) — essential
- A natural relationship builder, confident engaging with senior stakeholders globally
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Commercially astute with solid B2B sales experience
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage your own pipeline
Experience in events, financial services, or B2B media sales is highly advantageous, but not essential.
A strong candidate will:
- Take ownership and accountability for results
- Demonstrate persistence and creativity in closing deals
- Be proactive in identifying new opportunities and markets
