MacGregor Black is currently partnered with a leading international apparel company on the search for an Area Sales Manager – South & West England.


As a key member of the UK sales team, you will be responsible for driving regional growth through a combination of account management and new business development. You will take ownership of your territory, delivering against sales targets while strengthening market presence and customer partnerships.

Working closely with senior sales leadership and cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role in executing commercial strategies and supporting the continued expansion of the UK distribution network.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive sales growth and deliver against regional targets across South & West England
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing retail partners
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities to expand market presence
  • Execute regional sales strategies aligned with wider business objectives
  • Strengthen brand positioning within the outdoor and country lifestyle sectors
  • Collaborate with internal teams across sales, marketing, and support functions in the UK and internationally
  • Provide regular market insights and customer feedback to inform business strategy
  • Manage territory planning effectively to maximise commercial opportunities


What We're Looking For:


  • Proven experience in a field-based sales or account management role
  • Background within outdoor, retail, equestrian, country lifestyle, or related sectors is highly advantageous
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Confident negotiator with a strategic and proactive mindset
  • Self-motivated, structured, and able to work autonomously
  • Strong understanding of brand development and market positioning
  • Digitally aware, with knowledge of e-commerce and online retail environments
  • Passion for outdoor activities or related sectors is beneficial
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
