Band 5 Paediatric Audiologist

We are currently recruiting a Band 5 Paediatric Audiologist to join the Children’s Hearing Clinic within the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist paediatric audiology service, supporting children and families through assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing hearing management.

About the Role

You will:

• Deliver behavioural and electrophysiological hearing assessments for children (0–18 years)
• Undertake paediatric hearing aid fittings and ongoing management
• Provide aural habilitation and family support, including counselling
• Work closely within a multidisciplinary team including paediatrics, ENT, SALT, and education services
• Support service development and contribute to ongoing improvements

You will manage your own caseload while contributing to a high-quality, family-centred service.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Audiology or equivalent
• Experience in paediatric hearing assessment and management
• Strong communication skills, particularly when supporting families
• Ability to work both independently and within an MDT
