We are recruiting a Consultant Anaesthetist with an interest in Obstetrics to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

About the Role

• Provide anaesthetic care for labour ward and obstetric services
• Work within a unit delivering approximately 4,900 births per year
• Participate in multidisciplinary obstetric care and clinics
• Contribute to 1:12 on-call rota
• Support teaching, simulation training (PROMPT), and service development

You will work alongside a dedicated obstetric anaesthesia team delivering safe, high-quality care within a busy maternity service.

What We’re Looking For

• Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise
• CCT/CESR in Anaesthesia (or within 6 months)
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register (or eligibility)
• Experience in obstetric anaesthesia
• Strong MDT working and communication skills
