We’re looking for IVA Technical Reviewers to join our IVA Pre Appointment Team to work with the IVA Drafting team to review all proposed Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) cases meet the requirements of the regulator and voting houses before presentation for consideration.

Job Purpose: The IVA Technical Reviewer is responsible for reviewing IVA Pre-Appointment documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. They will conduct detailed reviews of both IVA Proposals and Chair Reports, including supporting documentation, ensuring all information is complete, accurate and compliant. A key aspect of the role is ensuring consistency between all pre-appointment documentation and resolving any discrepancies before submission or release.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all cases meet Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements, creditor voting house criteria and regulatory expectations.
  • Review and quality check both IVA Proposals and Chair Reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance prior to issue to debtors and creditors.
  • Ensure consistency between IVA Proposals, Chair Reports and supporting documentation, resolving any discrepancies prior to issuing.
  • Liaise with the IVA Drafting team and MOC team to ensure all required information and documentation is obtained and verified.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality are maintained while working to deadlines and service level expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with Data Protection Act (DPA) and GDPR standards, ensuring all company procedures are followed.
  • Compliance: Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant Insolvency legislation, regulatory requirements and internal policies. Ensure all actions and decisions adhere to the Insolvency Act, Insolvency Rules and regulatory guidance.
  • Quality Oversight: Conduct technical reviews and participate in calibration sessions to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Technical Manager on technical issues, quality trends and training needs. Report any breaches or emerging compliance risks promptly and accurately.



What skills and experience do we need you to have?


  • Experience working within financial services, preferably within debt management or insolvency.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and communicate effectively through excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and organised with the ability to prioritise and manage own workloads.
  • Ability to work towards strict targets and deadlines whilst maintaining quality and accuracy in your work.
  • Possesses a positive and professional approach with self-motivation and desire to achieve.
