Being one of the UK’s most iconic FMCG businesses requires a great commercial team. We’re currently supporting a world-renowned brand in the search for a National Account Manager to lead the Tesco account, one of the most strategic and high-profile customers in the UK & Ireland business.


This is a pivotal role responsible for delivering sustainable growth across the biggest moments of the year, with some of the biggest brands. You’ll own the end-to-end customer relationship, shape joint business plans, drive category growth and execute best-in-class activation, working at pace in a dynamic and demanding environment. This brand is known for developing talent internally, offering strong progression and the chance to make your mark on an account that will challenge you and accelerate your career.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Tesco agenda, owning the customer relationship and commercial delivery
  • Develop and execute JBPs that deliver against both customer and business objectives
  • Build compelling seasonal propositions and lead commercial negotiations
  • Deliver flawless execution of seasonal campaigns across all channels
  • Align demand planning, promotional strategy and activation with internal stakeholders
  • Analyse performance, identifying risks and opportunities and adapting plans to deliver results
  • Bring insight, challenge and strategic direction to the wider Seasonal category and commercial team


Qualifications:

  • Proven FMCG experience in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Strong National Account Management experience with major UK multiples (Tesco highly desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience delivering seasonal promotions and peak trading execution
  • Strong commercial acumen with confidence in negotiations and JBP ownership
  • Analytical mindset – able to turn data and insight into clear, actionable strategies
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, with high ownership and accountability
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
