About The RoleWe are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Video Editor to join the Originals team at LADbible. This role is ideal for someone with experience editing digital‐first video content for a youth audience across multiple social platforms.
You will work across a range of LADbible Original formats on LADbible Entertainment, LADbible Stories and SPORTbible's YouTube channels, including Snack Wars, Agree to Disagree, Minutes With, and more.
What The Opportunity Looks Like
Edit digital‐first video content to a high standard using Adobe Premiere Pro, working across LADbible Original formats including Snack Wars, Agree to Disagree, Minutes With, and other series.
Adapt pre‐designed MOGRTs and After Effects project templates.
DIT shoots on an ad‐hoc basis when required.
Undertake colour correction and grading for video and images, ensuring content meets broadcast and social platform standards.
Source audio, mix sound, and deliver well‐mastered multi‐track edits.
Deliver content optimised for multiple different platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and the tone of relevant LADbible Group channels.
Work closely with the Lead Video Editor to understand workflows and house style while continually developing your editing skills.
Take direction from Creative Producers to deliver high‐quality edits on tight deadlines.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects to a high standard.
Follow LADbible Original's team workflows and processes at all times.
Maintain hard drives, project files, and archiving in an organised and efficient way.
Skills and experience we'd like you to have
Experience in a similar role within a production company, post‐house, agency, publisher, or brand.
Professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite, with strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Good working knowledge of colour grading in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Good working knowledge of sound mixing and mastering.
Experience or interest in AI editing software techniques encouraged.
A genuine passion for LADbible content and social video.
Strong initiative, creativity, and problem‐solving skills.
Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
