About the role We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our London team. This is a hybrid role: you will work 2-3 days (including the evenings and weekends) in our London office located in Kings Cross and the remaining days remotely. You will play a key part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex conditions.The role requires on-site working during evenings and weekends. Evening shift hours: 1pm-10pm. Saturday: 8am-5pm. As a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) you will split your time between three days on site and two days working remotely. You will provide safe, effective and personalised treatment, supporting patients with a wide range of needs. Collaboration is central to this role. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver outstanding patient care while also contributing to the development of clinical pathways. You will be involved in patient and staff education and play an active part in driving improvements in treatment outcomes within this rapidly growing field.Key responsibilities Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.What we are looking for GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualificationAt least 2 years prescribing experienceExperience working in a clinical settingKnowledge of CBPM is desired but not essential or willingness to undergo specialised trainingClear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settingsHighly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demandsProactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problemsWell-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflowsWhat we offer Competitive salary25 days holiday (rising to 27 after one year and 30 after 2 years) + bank holidaysGPhC registration reimbursement5% matched pensionCycle-to-work schemeEnhanced Maternity & Paternity LeaveOpportunities for development and growthA dynamic and supportive work environmentAbout Montu Montu UK is a leading digital health company specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM).
