Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Superintendent, located in the United Kingdom. The key responsibilities include overseeing the technical management and maintenance of assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and managing budgets for vessel repairs and maintenance. The Technical Superintendent will also coordinate operational activities, perform regular vessel inspections, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain safety, reliability, and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of technical operations, maintenance, and repair of oil, chemical tankers, or LPG carriers.
• Skills in ship inspections, compliance with maritime regulations, and safety standards.
• Project management and budget management skills.
• Ability to liaise effectively with ship crews, clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Relevant maritime qualifications and a background in marine engineering or nautical science.
• Experience in the shipping industry, particularly in ship management, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in industry software and tools, as well as willingness to adapt to new technologies, is a plus.
