This is a hands-on, hybrid role covering both front of house and light kitchen duties. No two shifts are exactly the same, and we love that. You’ll be the face of Yes Burger — welcoming customers, taking orders, and making sure the experience feels great from start to finish. You’ll also get stuck in behind the scenes, supporting the kitchen team when needed.

Front of House

• Greeting customers warmly and creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Taking orders accurately at the till, handling cash and card payments
• Upselling menu items in a natural, friendly way — not pushy, just helpful
• Managing the order flow and communicating clearly with the kitchen team
• Packing orders for eat-in, takeaway and delivery platforms
• Keeping the front of house area clean, tidy and well-stocked throughout the shift
• Checking in with customers to make sure they’re happy with their food
• Handling customer queries, feedback or complaints calmly and professionally
• Maintaining a positive, upbeat vibe on the floor — energy is contagious
• Supporting with queue management during busy periods

Kitchen Support

• Assisting with food preparation including chopping, portioning and assembling components
• Helping to keep the kitchen clean and organised throughout service
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods to keep orders moving
• Following all food hygiene, allergen and safety procedures at all times
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, equipment and utensils as required
• Restocking kitchen supplies and flagging low stock to the team
• Disposing of waste correctly and maintaining bin hygiene
