If so, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a Classroom Assistant role in a highly respected primary school in Weston-super-Mare.

A welcoming, bright and child-centred primary school based in Weston-super-Mare is currently recruiting for a Classroom Assistant to support and promote learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to begin their career in education and gain valuable insight into the National Curriculum.

As a Classroom Assistant, you will work alongside skilled and dedicated teachers to help create a dynamic and effective learning environment where pupils can thrive and reach their full potential. This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. You will support and engage pupils in their learning, assist with delivering creative and well-structured lessons, and help spark those all-important 'light-bulb' moments.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate considering a career in education or an experienced Classroom Assistant looking for a new challenge. Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Relevant experience may include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, nursery work, childcare, or classroom-based support. Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioural needs, or learning difficulties would be highly beneficial.
