Business Development Manager – Premium Hospitality


Field Based | London | circa £60k Base + Bonus + Benefits


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a market-leading supplier serving the premium hospitality sector.

This is a high-impact field sales / new business / account growth role focused on developing existing customers, winning new business and driving profitable growth across a portfolio of high-quality hospitality accounts.

Ideal for a consultative sales professional with experience in foodservice sales, hospitality sales, premium food distribution, FMCG, wholesale or B2B business development, this role offers the opportunity to work with quality-led customers in a dynamic and growing sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across premium hospitality accounts including restaurants, hotels and food-led venues
  • Grow existing accounts through account management, upselling, cross-selling and share of wallet growth
  • Deliver against sales targets, margin growth, revenue KPIs and pipeline objectives
  • Identify product, category and menu development opportunities within customer accounts
  • Use a consultative, solution-led sales approach to build long-term partnerships with chefs, operators and decision makers
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, lead generation and opportunity conversion
  • Position the business as a preferred supply partner through value-led selling and exceptional customer engagement
  • Utilise CRM systems to manage pipeline activity, forecasting and account development plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, operations and category teams to deliver outstanding service and growth
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to unlock commercial opportunities


About You

We are looking for a driven and credible sales professional with a strong track record in business development, territory sales and account growth, ideally within hospitality, foodservice or a related B2B sector.


You may have experience as a:

Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / National Account Executive / Hospitality Sales Manager / Foodservice Sales Executive

Skills & Experience

  • Proven success in new business acquisition and account development
  • Experience selling into hospitality, foodservice, restaurants, hotels or premium food-led environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of margin, negotiation and profitable growth
  • Skilled in pipeline management, consultative selling and relationship management
  • Ability to influence chefs, operators, senior stakeholders and business owners
  • Experience using CRM systems, forecasting tools and sales reporting
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and target driven
  • Passion for quality, service and customer excellence
