Senior Software Engineer - £80k + bonus + shares | SustainbleTech | Yorkshire/hybrid

The role

✅ Build and optimise AI-driven object detection and video analysis systems, designing power-efficient software for next-gen hardware

✅ Own production services end-to-end, using large-scale real-world data to monitor, improve performance, and enhance user experience

Skills needed:

Strong backend skills across Python (Flask) and Go, with exposure to Java and TypeScript

Experience building APIs with GraphQL (Apollo) and working with data stores like Postgres and Bigtable

Cloud expertise across GCP and AWS, including Kubernetes-based deployments and serverless services

Familiar with modern DevOps tooling including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm)
