Senior Compliance Advisory Lead – Financial Promotions

North West London| £75,000-£85,000 + bonus + benefits


We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Compliance Advisory lead with deep expertise in financial promotions, consumer credit and conduct risk.

This is a high-impact, front-foot advisory role, operating at the center of a commercially driven business, where compliance is integral to shaping customer outcomes, marketing strategy and regulatory alignment.


The Opportunity

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance across complex, multi-channel financial promotions and customer journeys. The role offers significant visibility and influence, with direct engagement across marketing, product and leadership teams.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert oversight and challenge on financial promotions across digital, CRM, paid media and partner channels
  • Ensuring all communications meet FCA requirements and are clear, fair and not misleading, with appropriate prominence and balance
  • Supporting the business through heightened regulatory scrutiny and evolving conduct expectations
  • Enhancing governance and controls across intermediary and distribution channels
  • Embedding Consumer Duty principles into customer communications and end-to-end journeys
  • Influencing decision-making at a senior level, balancing regulatory integrity with commercial objectives


Candidate Profile

We are seeking a high-calibre compliance professional with:

  • Strong experience in financial promotions advisory within a UK regulated environment
  • A robust background in consumer credit, Consumer Duty and conduct risk frameworks
  • Proven ability to operate within fast-paced, commercially focused businesses
  • Experience reviewing and challenging multi-channel marketing and customer communications
  • The confidence and credibility to engage and influence senior stakeholders


Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to complex distribution models, including intermediary or partner-led environments
  • Involvement in regulatory reviews, remediation activity or complaints frameworks
