The opportunity
As Field Sales Manager, you’ll lead, develop and execute the field sales strategy across the Off-Trade channel. You’ll be responsible for driving performance on the ground, ensuring best-in-class execution and building a highly engaged, high-performing team. Sitting within the Commercial function, you’ll work cross-functionally with Trade Marketing and wider teams to deliver innovative and effective in-store activity.
This is a role for someone who thrives on balancing strategy with hands-on leadership, equally comfortable analysing performance metrics as they are coaching in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and delivering the field sales strategy aligned to Off-Trade commercial objectives
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing field sales team
- Driving key KPIs including Revenue/NSV, Case Volume, Distribution, Rate of Sale (ROS), Visibility and Activation
- Planning and prioritising team activity across weekly, monthly and quarterly cycles
- Ensuring consistent excellence in execution across Convenience and Impulse channels
What we’re looking for
- Experience in field sales, with at least a period of time in a leadership role
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and sales reporting tools
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge and improve
Salary & benefits
- Salary: £65,000 plus bonus (up to 15%)
- Hybrid working: 3 days in London
