Pulse AHP’s Phlebotomy Team is currently recruiting experienced Phlebotomists / Healthcare Support Workers for an exciting ongoing project across Northern Ireland.

Up to £19 per hour (umbrella) + weekend enhancements

Starting July | Ongoing project

This is a flexible, shift-based role, ideal for candidates looking for part-time hours or a second role. We are looking for individuals who can commit to at least 1–2 days per week within a weekday service operating Monday–Friday.

The Role

You will be working on mobile outreach units across Northern Ireland, supporting a healthcare research programme. Locations rotate approximately every 5–6 weeks.

Main duties include:

• Venepuncture (2 blood samples per participant)

• Height, weight and waist measurements

• Blood pressure and heart rate observations

• Data input onto clinical systems

• Participant welfare checks and escalation where required

• Providing advice and signposting to participants

• Preparing and packaging samples for courier collection

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 12 months recent phlebotomy experience

• Previous HCA / clinical support experience

• Phlebotomy competency required

• Willingness to complete full Pulse registration

• Full clean manual driving licence essential

Due to insurance requirements, candidates must also:

• Be aged 25 or over

• Have held a full driving licence for at least 12 months

• Have not previously been refused motor insurance

Please note, candidates are not expected to cover every location and can work within areas suitable for their travel requirements.

This role involves travelling between mobile units, therefore driving is essential.
