Civil Design Technical Lead | Water & Wastewater

Are you a civil engineer who enjoys leading design, not just producing it?

We’re looking for a Civil Design Technical Lead to take ownership of civil and structural design across water and wastewater treatment projects — guiding solutions from early concept through to delivery and commissioning.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you’ll review designs, manage external consultants, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable and buildable infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

✔ Leading civil & structural design on complex projects

✔ Managing and reviewing consultant design packages

✔ Collaborating with mechanical, electrical & process teams

✔ Ensuring compliance, buildability and value for money

✔ Supporting projects from feasibility through to commissioning

♂ What we’re looking for:

✅ Civil engineering degree

✅ Strong water / wastewater design experience

✅ Confident reviewing consultant work and leading design decisions

✅ Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit & BIM environments

✅ Chartered (or working towards) is a plus
