ResponsivePersonnelarepleasedtobeworkingwithaleadingtransport&logisticsproviderwhoarelookingforClass1Driversduetobusinessgrowth.

AsaClass1Driver,youwillbeworkingalongsidethetransportteamtoensurethesafedeliveryofgoodstovariousdepotslocally.

Workinghours:MondaytoFriday,withshifttimesstartingat04:30-06:30ondays,and18:00-19:00starttimesonnights.

Salary:£18.00perhourondays.£21.00perhouronnights.

YourClass 1 Driver responsibilitieswillinclude(butnotlimitedto):

• Completingfullvehiclecheckspriortoleavingtheyard,ensuringanydefectsarereportedimmediately.
• Deliveryofcagedorpalletisedgoodstodepots(somedeliverieswillrequireunloadingusinganelectricpallettruck,howevermostdeliverieswillbeforkedoff).
• Followingmanualhandlingprocedures.
• UseofhandheldPDAscannerdevicestoscangoodson/offthevehicle.
• EnsuringstrictcompliancewithallWorkingTimeDirectivepolicies.

Class 1 DriverExperience&Qualifications:

• MustholdafullUKcategoryC+Edrivinglicence,CPCcardandtachocard.
• Forinsurancepurposes,alldriversmusthaveheldtheirClass1licencefor12monthsorlonger.
• Successfullycompleteadrivingassessmentwhichwillincludeatheorytest,practicaltest,anddrug&alcoholtest.
• Strongcommunication&organisationskills,withtheabilitytopayattentiontodetail.
