RoleThis role will be primarily based within our central support office with the opportunity to work remotely one to two days per week. You will learn to:

Use visualisation programs such as Power BI to build powerful, interactive reports and bring data to life

Understand coding measures in reports using the DAX language to enhance reporting

Use Facts and Dimensions in data models

Publish reports on the Power BI service

Build enhanced Excel skills using formulas, pivot tables, and creating charts

Manage data checks and reconciliations

Understand how to profile new data sources, looking for anomalies or potential issues

Implement best practice on data governance and quality

Support business users with finding the right data and understanding the meaning behind figures

Produce news updates and training materials on new reports and developments to support business need

Engage with colleagues from across multiple areas of the organisation, expanding your team working and communication skills

Manage a varied workday in a fast‐paced operational environment, learning to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

We'll provide you with a comprehensive company induction, role‐specific training, and apprenticeship support. You will become a part of a larger apprentice cohort where you will be able to form lifelong relationships and engage in a wider support network.

We'll support your personal growth and development in line with your Sunbelt Rentals career aspirations. You will have the opportunity to gain additional qualifications, attend product training sessions, learn from experienced professionals and develop your career within a large, national business.

Apprenticeship Training

Workplace experience to gain practical skills

Guidance and training from an experienced workplace mentor and a range of colleagues

Industry recognised training leading to an apprenticeship qualification. This is delivered remotely with the support of a skills coach to ensure successful completion

Inclusion in relevant Sunbelt Rentals training sessions to develop your professional skills. This may require some travel to other business locations

At least five GCSEs or equivalent at Grade 4 or above including Maths and English

Additional qualifications at A Level (grades A‐C), BTEC level 3 or a prior Level 3 Apprenticeship in an IT, Maths or STEM‐related subject area are essential for this role

A genuine, demonstrable interest in working with numbers and technology, and a basic awareness of Excel would be desirable
