Commodities Team

This Associate level role is to join a growing team focusing on delivering high quality search and talent advisory mandates to the commodities industry.


The Commodities practice at ECB Star supports clients across trading companies, hedge funds, banks, utilities, majors, miners, private equity and sovereign wealth, acting as a trusted talent and advisory partner. Focusing on mid-senior and leadership hires across front, middle and back-office mandates, we aim to support our clients on hiring the best possible talent for business-critical mandates across the globe.


Utilising a true search and assessment methodology and deep sector expertise and networks, ECB Star ensures that both the active and more importantly passive candidate populations are covered as part of any search mandate. The Role

The ideal candidate for this position will have between 1 and 3 years of experience in recruitment in a Research/Associate level role, ideally with commodities industry experience.


Responsibilities

  • Proactive identification and screening of candidates
  • Production of detailed search reports and documentation
  • Work closely with industry leading Partners in search execution, with a key focus on candidate management and client delivery
  • Research industry and market dynamics


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 0 - 3 year professional working experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel


Location

Preference for London, United Kingdom, but can also consider Dubai, UAE
