An award-winning, fast-growing national law firm is seeking an Employment Associate Solicitor / Senior Associate in Birmingham to join its highly regarded Chambers & Legal 500 ranked team.

The Birmingham team is led by highly experienced employment partners with deep expertise across both contentious and non-contentious matters, supported by a strong leadership group of partners and directors. You’ll work closely with senior lawyers advising on complex strategic projects, including large-scale restructures, TUPE, outsourcing and sensitive employment issues.

The Role
- Leading Employment Tribunal claims, predominantly acting for respondents
- Advising on disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals and workplace disputes
- Supporting complex restructures, redundancies and strategic reorganisation projects
- Advising on TUPE, outsourcing and corporate transactions
- Drafting employment contracts, policies, restrictive covenants and settlement agreements
- Advising on executive exits and sensitive reputational matters
- Delivering client training and practical employment law advice
- Collaborating with a national employment team on high-value client work
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with 1+ years PQE in Employment law
- Experience advising employer/respondent clients
- Strong technical grounding across contentious and advisory matters
- Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach
- Organised with the ability to manage a varied caseload
- Ambitious with an interest in developing client relationships
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a high-performing culture
