Position: Senior Compliance and Legal Officer

Location: Central London, full-time office-based

FinTop Consulting has partnered with an institutional broker to assist their expansion plans by hiring a Senior Compliance and Legal Officer.

Joining a global compliance team of seven already, and with 9 licenses across the globe, you will be managing a graduate compliance office in London and another based in Cyprus. From this, you will work closely with the Head of Legal and Compliance to build out the foundations, as well as:

• Support the implementation of relevant laws & regulations across the company brand, globally.
• Advising on legal product and services regulations, including the UK FCA, CySEC, MiFID, and additional regulations.
• Reviewing, drafting, and finalizing agreements, terms, documentations, and contracts within the institutional space.
• Overseeing corporate matters, ensuring governing policies are above company standards.

Essential Skills: The Non-negotiables

• Minimum of 5 years within FX/CFD compliance and legal institutional space.
• Strong experience and background in UK and EU frameworks
• Experience in global frameworks and regulations
• Speaking languages such as Spanish and/or Italian will be highly advantageous.
• Candidates should hold an LLB; exceptional candidates with backgrounds in Law, Economics, or Finance will also be considered.

Candidates without prior experience in the FX/CFD Institutional space, as outlined above, will not be considered for this role.
